I-day Celebrations @ CSRT 17 & CCLC 27

On The Occasion Of Independence Day We thought of celebrating it with the Kids at Star Welfare Society At Tangra Kolkata .This place consists of 2 rooms in the ground floor and one on the first which is dining hall the one in the ground floor is where the students study and in the other one the couple stays .Around 110 kids study in that place and around 15 kids stay with the couple only. We tried to celebrate the Independence Day with the kids Firstly the Flag Hoisting and then the National Anthem followed by the cultural programme and finally we distributed them the Bags ,Books, Pencil ,Book Shelf, and Food.

The community services convener gave in great effort for the project and made sure that on the occasion of this big day the kids be happy.

The event was well attended by the Tablers, Circlers and Twinklers of CSRT 17 & CCLC 27.

The family of Bellary Vikings Round Table, relived the days of their college life,  with the theme..

 

“Yaai re yaai re zor laga ke naache re, Yaai re yaai re mil ke dhoom machaayein re,

Chal mere sang sang, le le duniya ke rang, Ho ja rangeela re, rang rang rangeela re”

Rajasthani Turban, Rangeela Umbrella, hundreds  of balloons, smoke around the corner, and very lavish seven course food menu which was so tasty every one make sure they taste each and every item inspite of satiety………..

Twinkler’s games by Srivalli, couple games by Tr Anil, Solo Dance performance by Twinkler Bhavana, Poal Dance by our own Tr Pashupati (IPAC) all added up to the hue of the fellowship theme.

Our own DJ Gopi with his team for the night set the dance floor in perfect synch with the mood and made us shake our body past mid night.

TP King Mr Babu Pola set the game of cards and sure the party was on till morning.

July 17th 2016 @ Hotel Hampi Haritage Resort, Hampi

A Formal Business Meet, a Fantastic Theme Party, a Great Inter-Tabling Fellowship event, a Showcase of Talent under the guise of Seargenting by two Outstanding “Stand-Up Comedians”, awards to the tabler’s who contributed to RTI, a Smashing DJ music performing till late into the night coupled with a fabulous Venue sporting an amazing decor …..it surely was A Night To REMEMBER!

The 15^th AGM of Bellary Viking Round Table 152 and 2^nd AGM of Bellary Viking Ladies Circle 127 at Hampi Heritage Resort, Hampi on July 17, 2016 started off on time at 1100 hrs in the presence of Area Chairman Tr Anand Heda, Area Vice-Chairman Tr Mahendra Yadav, Area Chairperson Cr  Divya Shetty, and host of other guests including fellow Tablers, Square Legs and HT’s and also guest from other tables.

The AGM started on time at 11:00 hrs with quorum being established and headboard taking centre-stage and showcasing the milestones and activities achieved and performed during the year starting from Community Service Projects to Attending AAGM at Pune in 2015 which was hosted by our own table BVRT 152 to Theme Socials to RTI Week to Outbound Trip to Sandur to RTI All India Publicity Branding Exercises through a project of “Beti Bachao Beti Parao” to Winning of swimming championship at Nation level by disable child to  FTE 5 Class room with toilet block at School Renebenure, Inauguration to FTE Charity Box Drive to and countless social and fellowship activities which BVRT 152 took under the aegis of Chairman Tr Dr Adarsh who truly led from the front and ensured outstanding recognition for the Table on both National and International front.

Tr Dr Harish , Tr Vikram Pola and Tr Sahodar were specially awarded and given standing ovation for their priceless contribution at table and area level. It is Tr Sashidhar who was fellowship convener make it possible that we all enjoy every fellowship to the max extent.  Also the fellowship with the theme of “Cow Boy” declared to be best fellowship of the year.

While the Old Guards were changing hands, it was time for some Amazing Amazing Seargenting superbly conceptualized and executed by Tr. Chanderkant (as Munnai Bhai) and Tr. Kiran Jain (as Circut) who through their act force entire gathering to laugh continuously till the act come to an end.  A special mention for all the circlers and twinkle’s who sportingly appreciated and help in making the even memorable!

Live snake workshop organized by retiring Tr Adithya Vattam added life time experience to Tablers, Circlers & Twinklers.

The Incoming Headboard of 2016-17 announced its team under the guidance of Chairman Tr. Vikram Kologal and Secretary Tr. Anil Savla. We wished the Team the very best for the coming year and hoped that BVRT 152 shall continue to bring laurels not only at the AREA but also at the National Level.

Before the final act of performance, there was a very heart touching ceremony for 1 retiring tabler Tr Adithya Vattam, who in every sense is the Jewels of BVRT 152 and shall continue to be a guiding light for years to come. Till date Tr Aditya has rescue more than 20K different spices of Snakes all around the State in Karnataka and is also involve in providing Training to forest staff for rescue snakes. In Tr Aditya we have found friend and mentor and also someone whom we can look upto. They embody the true spirit of Tabling and are an inspiration for all new and old tablers. Special Thanks to HT of our table Tr. Babu Pola, Tr Srinivas Chinni, Tr Arun Swrop, Tr Raghunath, Tr Raju Kanunga for their support and BVRT 152 ensured that the string of being a ‘HT’ would keep pulling them back.

Rendition of some jazzy and soulful performances DJ Gopi made everyone wear their “Dancing Shoes” and groove to eclectic beats late into the night. With appetizing food and snacks by the side, it summed up a perfect 15^th AGM of BVRT 152 and 2^nd AGM of BVLC 127.  We were privileged to have guests from other tables and Area Chairman Tr Anand Heda, Incoming Area Chairman Tr Mahendra Yadav, Area Chairperson Divya Shetty and none other than our own Immediate Area Past Chairman Tr Pashupati.

I-Day celebrations @ BVRT 152

Independence Day Celebrations 2016- BVRT 152 & BVLC 127

Tablers and Circlers of  BVRT 152 & BVLC 127 were all geared up to make this 15^th August special for the students of Vasavi School and Datta School.

After attending the Independence Day celebrations and distributing sweets to students at Vasavi School, the team headed to Datta School, Bellary. The students there also had prepared beautifully for the occasion. Chairman Tr. Vikram and Chairperson Cr Sheetal spoke to the children and told them the history of our Country and useful information for their future.

We distributed sweets to all the students of Vasavi school and Datta School, on the occasion of Independence Day.

Fancy Dress Competition was organized for Kids at Datta school by BVLC 127. Prizes were distributed to the winner and also to academic toppers.

It is always a pleasure to take out time to attend such functions with the children of our project schools. These little gestures go a long way in instilling civic sense in the students as well as developing basic general knowledge about our great nation, “India”

Invent was also cover by Local Language Newspapers.

Fellowship: BVRT 152 enjoys Rustom @ RR Multiplex

This August With release of big movie likes “RUSTOM” & “MOHENJO DARO”, How could the Family stay back from watching a movie together.

On the eve of Independence Day 53 heads on 13^th August 2016, headed for newly open “ R R Multiplex, Bellary” to watch the movie “RUSTOM”. .

Special Thanks to our Thaliva LMF Tr Sashi for managing to book the show on the very first day of opening of new and First Multiplex in our city Bellary.

All had a great time for a movie in full form with whistles, shouting  & getting the mood in all. Catching up with all the friends is always the best time.

Fellowship: Icecreams for BVRT 152

After attending “SAI BABA POOJA” at Tr Raj and Cr Veena newly constructed home with delicious south Indian menu…………Twinkler’s and Circlers forced Tr Chanderkant for Ice-Cream Party for winning the TP on July 30, 2016.

Tr Chandrakant took entire team to NATURAL’s, Bellary.  What a lovely atmosphere in the night with drizzling and with perfect blend of natural ice-cream. All the Tabler’s, Circler’s and Twinkler’s make sure that they first taste the entire flavor available at the Natural’s; actually it was the best part of the fellowship.

Different flavor are ordered and at the last the flavor of the day was “NATURAL GREEN CHILLI”. It was really nice and tempting.

We thank Tr Chanderkant for hosting such a wonderful ice-cream fellowship.

After amazing Saturday!! Nothing like fellowship on a lazy Sunday Night!

ART 40 celebrates Indepedence Day

ART-40 and ALC-64 had celebrated 70^th Independence Day at Keshavnegar School, Ahmedabad. This school was constructed  by our Table only. The event commenced at 8:30 a.m.  by doing “Flag Hoisting” followed with singing of National Anthem.

The school authorities have welcomed all the Tablers, Circlers and Twinklers with flowers. The school kids have shown their talent by performing various dances, singing songs and playing drama on Indian Independence. There were kids who gave motivational speeches on the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.

As a chairman of the Table I was given the opportunity to address the gathering. My speech mainly contained two things:

a.    Have Role Model in Life So that their Goals in Life are clear.

b.    To Keep India Clean (Under Swachh Bharat Initiative).

Post the speech we have donated a Laser Printer to the school so that they also upgrade with the technological changes and smart learning in the Education System. We also felicitated 10 Bright students of the school by giving them Bags, Stationery, Colours, Books, etc. We also distributed Fruit Juices and Biscuits to 400 students present at the event. The event was also witnessed by NHT Ruchir Gupta, Area Jewel Premal, National NNBS Convener Kunal, Table Jewel Amit Kariwala.

Post the event we have organized a Drawing Competition of Indian Flag for all the Twinklers present at the event. We also explained them the importance of Indian Flag and Independence Day.

Thereafter, we went for Breakfast Fellowship at Bikanerwala and enjoyed South Indian Delicacies along with Juices and Lassi.

Overall, we had spent the Independence Day with honour and satisfaction.

Fellowship: Potluck @ HKRT 178 & HKLC 143

HKRT 178 and HKLC 143 celebrated their 1st joint fellowship with a potluck fellowship at lakeside farmhouse on Sunday.

Preparations for the potluck started a week in advance with the respective Fellowship conveners Tr Basu & Cr Panna drumming up interest with their innovative menu design, contests and plans for kids for the potluck fellowship.

Three days before the event there was a frenzied debate on the composition of the menu with several great ideas being championed and discussed. The level of enthusiasm was to be seen to be believed as the whatsapp group went into an overload mode.

On the day, we had fantastic participation with 17 couples attending the same.

There were dishes galore and every palate was catered to. It was a mini india – a melting pot of tastes, regions & types of food on offer.

The veg starters ran the gamut from the de rigueur pain puri stall to the live mirchi vada * live dosa stalls. The menu was extensive & we were spoiled for choice with a plethora of dishes ranging from entrees to desserts.

Who says home made food cannot be a gastronomic delight?  We all were delighted by the sheer spread of food and all of us became wannabe gourmands that night!!

Our prospects Mr. Srinivas Kalburgi & his wife Mrs. Sandhya got into the mood and they too got a starter in line with the theme of the fellowship, which was appreciated by everybody!

The fellowship was well attended with AST Area – 10 Tr Sachin Shah with his better half Mrs Nisha, Tr Gaurav Khullar – Chairman HRT 37 along with his wife Cr. Anchal Khullar – Chairperson HLC 45 gracing the occasion with their presence. AVC Area – 10 Tr Mahendra Yadav was also present, as it was his own table’s event 🙂

The meeting went off smoothly with Tr Karthik Shetty being the chairman for the event and Charter Chairperson Cr Priyanka Handa jointly chairing the meeting, another first for family 178.

It was indeed special in more ways than one. Sergeant and FC Tr Basu performed a turbo charged & hilarious 7 minute mono – act which had everybody in splits and he received a standing ovation at the end of it. The meeting was concluded on that high note & the fun & games for kids began in earnest.

The adults were busy stuffing their faces with the mouth watering delicacies laid out before them – all home made. A Special mention for HT Venkatesh Anegundi who, in a superlative effort set up a live dosa station and was doling out one dosa after the other, pretty much nonstop.

The home made food made a huge difference in the enthusiasm and the appetite of everybody present and we had a rollicking time shoveling in as much as possible.

There were some great entries in the desserts section and intense competition amongst the foodies in the group as to the most voracious eater of desserts. Tr Vishal won that hands down!!

There were prizes in various categories for the food, with Cr. Pallavi, Cr. Nanda, Cr. Priyanka and FC Cr. Panna receiving the laurels. However at the end of the day the actual winners were team HKRT 178 & HKLC 143!!

As the feeding frenzy wound down, many people were too full to do the bogie – woogie, though few couples did light the floor on fire with their smooth dance moves.

It was a fellowship to remember with great food, desserts and fantastic company. A Sunday evening very well spent & a big bang start to the fellowships – as this was our 1st fellowship of the year.

HOSPET ROUND TABLE 231 WISHES YOU & YOUR FAMILY “A HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY”

In keeping with the evolving vision of HRT 231 & in the endeavour to take forward its legacy “FREEDOM THROUGH EDUACTION” , HRT 231 started its brand new journey, with the OPENER PROJECT by “ADOPTING A LIBRARY” on the eve of Independence Day Celebrations at P.M.R.S. School under the leadership of our versatile Chairman TR.AVINASH KAKUBAL on Aug 15th 2016. The event was adorned by the presence of Area Project Conveners Tr.P.Harish & Tr.V.Sahodhar who nurtured the values of Freedom & Knowledge for generations to come. After Flag Hoisting by the Chairman, Indian Flags & Bands were distributed to all the students by Tablers, Circlers & Twinklers.

Playground & Furniture project completed on I-day / GRT 254

15th August is one of the most important days in Indian history as it was on this day we got the Independence. The 15th August has been declared a national holiday and has been recognized and celebrated as the Independence Day of India, ever since.

We as a GRT decided to handover play ground , swings  ,24 fans 24 tube lights 6chairs and 6 tables to shakti Vidhalya under our first freedom through education project on this day. All tablers gathered and took part in handing over ceremony of  above amenities to school authorities by lifting the curtain from plaque which fixed at the main entrance of school. As we all know all over the country, flag-hoisting ceremonies and celebrations are conducted to commemorate the occasion of our nations Independence Day. GRT 254 also witnessed some exemplary programs presented by the students of Shakti Vidhalya Nani Chirai Bhachau

Tablers and Ladies of GRT 254 were all geared up to make this 15th August special for the students of Shakti Vidhalya The students there also had prepared beautifully. 13  tablers, 8 non circlers, 10 twinklers reached at 8:45 for  the final celebrations of Independence Day. Tr. Saurabh addressed the children. Flag Hoisting was done by Tr Rohit Sharama

We distributed Drawing books crayons and Choclates to all the 140students of schools on the occasion of Independence Day. It is always a pleasure to take out time to attend such functions with the children of our project schools. These little gestures go a long way in instilling civic sense in the students as well as developing basic general knowledge about our great nation, “India”
