Ahmedabad Round Table 40 & Ahmedabad Ladies Circle 64 undertook a project under “Freedom Through Education” – an initiative by Round Table India by providing Sanitation & Hygiene facilities at Sanavad Praathmik Shala which is a Govt. School.
This has been implemented with the help of Coca Cola & NDTV Support My School Project where schools are provided proper sanitation facilities.
The project was inaugurated on 23rd April 2016 in the presence of National president- Round Table India Tr. Suman Voora & Area Chairman- Tr. Ritesh Sirohia.
Facilities provided include new Toilet Blocks separate for Boys & Girls, Playground with Volleyball court, Drinking RO Water & Cooler Facility, Hand Wash Facility and Landscaping. Currently 200 children study in this school and this facility would help them maintain hygiene and a healthy environment.
The students were extremely happy to have these facilities in their school. Apart from this, we also donated 3 in 1- Color Printer, Xerox & Scanner machine. We also distributed frooti & Biscuits to children.
