Mid Term Meet is in the Middle of The year where the Tablers of a Particular ARea meet at one venue to Discuss the Happening and events in the area which have Passed and also discuss further course of Action for the remaining part of The year

The Area Board meeting also happens at the same time and place. The Fellowship was the essence of the AREA x MTM

ROUND TABLE INDIA, AREA X

A REPORT ON MTM AND AREA LEVEL FELLOWSHIP AT CHIKKAMANGALUR: 

A total of 78 heads attended the MTM. We all reached Taj, The Gateway Hotel at around 12pm on 17^th Feb 2012. All received a warm welcome from the tablers of DRT 76 and staff of Taj. Registration and check-in was made easier and after a welcome drink everybody checked in the rooms. Post lunch, Board members and tablers headed for 3^rd Area Board Meeting, while circlers, ladies & twinklers were at leisure to relax in the room and few of them had a nice time at pool. 3^rd Area Board Meeting was arranged at the Board Room and the meeting started at around 3.00pm which ended at 6.00pm with lots of interaction and healthy discussions.

Amber Valley Residential School (AVRS) visit was arranged and their staffs were ready at our Hotel with two buses. 6.15pm we reached AVRS and received a warm welcome from The Principal and Staffs. They took us through the property explaining and briefing us about the facilities. Each of us was impressed with a wide spread school premises with state of art facilities. We even visited their Dining and Dormitories and witnessed a very hygiene maintained. Post high tea we had a presentation by The Principal and Students. Our Sq. Leg. Ajay Handa’s daughter Ms. Kudrat Handa who is studying as AVRS briefed us about the school and shared her experience. We returned back to Taj at 7.30pm.

At 8.30pm we all were ready for a rocking fellowship hosted by DRT 76. A wonderful ambiance with all arrangements done very perfectly at the lawns of Taj. The tablers and ladies of DRT 76 were personally involved to entertain everybody. The event management was out sourced and lots of fun filled games were arranged. This rocking evening started with inauguration  by our Area Chairman Tr. Vijesh Saigal and NHT Tr. Mohan Mankani. Tablers, Circlers, Twinklers and Couples enjoyed the fun filled games throughout and all enjoyed the dance performances  at regular intervals. The heartthrob of the evening was the crackers show for continuous 15 min enjoyed by all. DRT 76 sponsored the soft drinks and snacks were served throughout the night. After the dance performances and fun filled games, the dance floor was open and all of us had a nice time dancing on the tunes of DJ. At 12.00am we celebrated the Birthday of Tr. Ravi Dolli (KRT 154)..

Next day i.e. 18^th Feb. 2012 surprisingly most of the tablers, circlers and twinklers were seen out of the rooms at 8.00am even after a very late night party. We all enjoyed cycling in the premises, walking around; playing basket ball, table tennis and few members hit the gym. After having breakfast all were ready to take a dip in swimming pool and enjoyed few water games. We were then ready by 1.30pm for check out and headed to Golf Club for Lunch. Had a wonderful lunch at Golf Club and at 3.00pm started to the railway station thanking Team DRT 76 for a wonderful MTM. We all boarded the train at 4.30pm but the fellowship was still continued till we reached back to Hubli while snacks, tea, coffee and soft drinks served, we were all recalling the last two days activities.

The week end went by will be a great memory in the history of Area X MTM. Friends, above is the brief report of the event and the complete 2 days of memories cannot be put in words. All those who have missed this rocking MTM should have been there to know what they have really missed.

Special efforts of below persons needs to be appreciated, who made this event very very interesting, energetic, enjoyable, successful and memorable.

1)    Entire DRT 76 Team, who have put in hard efforts to entertain the entire Area X.

2)    Tr. Niranjan, Tr. Vinay and HT. Shivkumar of DRT 76, who initiated and took a lead and involved themself to make this event great successful.

3)    Our Area Chairman Tr. Vijesh Saigal, who as usual took a special interest and motivated one and all. He was very active throughout the tour and was at the front whenever required.

4)    AFC Tr. Sachin Tenginkai, self motivator and have done huge follow-up with everybody to see a good strength @ MTM.
