Greetings to all of you from your NAGM Team at Vizag.

Hope you are all receiving our sms regularly?!

Further to our emails two days ago, we wish to inform you that The Park Hotel, Palmbeach Hotel, Orange Hotel, Bay leaf spa & resort and Waltair Club are fully reserved by visiting tablers who paid one night advance.

I request the rest of them who haven’t made any reservations to pl. rush in if you wish to have any choice left with regard to rooms. Most other hotels are almost getting full.

Pl treat this as a gentle reminder from your Knights team at Waltair.

Looking forward for you presence with your family and do not miss the AGM Tour.  Request you to motivate as many friends as you can for this memorable event.

Message from RTI Prez Tr Pranay

Dear Friends,

I have been getting a lot of calls since morning on how as an organization, we can create awareness for such an attack not to happen again, stand up for the basic rights of protection from the Government, have the freedom to walk free without any fear, raise our voice against the hundreds of  politicians.

Emotions are plenty and the rage is justifiable…..

Please do get back to me with your opinions/suggestions, on how WE can be do our bit for the society.

The events in Mumbai leave me appalled and sad for the loss of innocent lives. I do hope that all Tablers and their families in India are safe and please relay to the authorities in Mumbai and the Government of India my best wishes for a peaceful future where such a waste of human life is not known.

Please relay to the victims’ families our sympathy. I am sure that Round Table India will act or have acted already to assist these unfortunate families.

I do not have enough words to express my thanks to you and your fine Tablers whom I had the pleasure to meet during my visit to Area 1 from 21st to 25th November 08.

My appreciation to AC Tr. Deepu who organised these unscheduled lunch and dinner meetings with all of you and in a matter of 4 days, I had the pleasure of reaching out to 10 Tables of Kerala in Area 1. Although the thought of travelling by road to each centre was putting me off, the silver lining in the cloud was the company of AC Tr. Deepu and an opportunity to make new friends for life in “God’s own Country”. And friends I did make…. have enough memories of a life time of my visit to Area 1. Every bit of this trip is clearly etched in my mind….Now that I have tasted the hospitality of Area 1, I would love to visit the rest of the Tables during the month of January’ 09.

Isn’t our organisation amazing – we make friends out of complete strangers and I am glad that I did this trip. The meetings were interesting so was the fellowship. A big thank you to all of you once again and please remember, you now have a home in Hyderabad.

Thanks to AC Tr. Deepu and Kristy for being such wonderful hosts and your National Supply House Convenor Tr. George Thayyil for accompanying me to the meetings.

Arpana joins me in welcoming all of you to the National AGM at Vizag from the 26th to 28th December’ 08.

Minutes of the National AGM of RTI held at Goa

minutes of the 46th Annual General Meeting of Round Table India held in Goa
