Dear Friends

Round Table India
It was a momentous occasion for all of us when we signed MOU with M/s Exnora international, an NGO concentrating on Global worming.
Its an unique initiative on global warming awareness. There would be a log book given to the kids to monitor their parents usage of gasoline or emission products. I am sure awareness itself shall make an individual to think twice when he repeats the same. The results would be helping everyone globally.
MMRT 95 has taken the initiative which was need of the hour and could be easily monitored by Tablers. My congratulations to Tr.Puneet Sampath Chairman MMRT 95. The event saw almost all the city chairmen present there.
The event was graced by Mr.Nirmal MB from Exnora International and Mrs. Dr.CK Gariyali , IAS ( retd ) Country Director, India Clinical Epidemiology Network.
Mr.Nirmal expressed his gratitude over Round Table India and he is looking forward for our support.
I congratulate Tr.Amit Sayya and Tr. Puneet Sampath for their fantastic efforts on this tie up. I wish them all the best.
Thanks & Regards,
Rajesh Kumar YR
Dear Friends,
As news trickle in from Bihar thru Area Chairmen Vineet and Zishan, the situation seems to be going from bad to worse !
The flood water has started to recede now and rotting bodies are found all over the place. I have been informed that approx 5 lakh are dead and an outbreak of epidemic is imminent any moment.
The need of the hour is to reach out to the helpless quickly and it really is commendable to see that Baroda RT 49 and Kolkatta Evergreen RT 63 thru their Chairmen Amit and Sanjay have been the first ones to take the lead in organising essential relief material.
An appeal to all Tablers across the country and abroad have been sent informing them about the situation and in their own way have started collecting relief material as well as donations. Kuwait RT is the first international Table to have confirmed a donation of Rs. 25000 and old clothes.
I request both the Area Chairmen to inform their respective Tables to route all donations collected by them individually to their Area Project account and appoint a convenor who will handle the day to day requirements of funds for purchasing essentials.
For all those donors who require a 80 G certificate or otherwise, they will have to be send in their donations to "Round Table India Trust, Chennai", who upon getting a credit of the funds in their account, will repay it back to the Area Project account. A receipt will be issued in favour of the donor for him to claim the IT exemption.
National Project Convenor Tr. Mintu is in regular touch with all the above 3 with regard to the progress of the relief operations.
I am also marking a mail to LCI President Cr. Uma appealing for their support.
Friends, at this moment of crisis, WE as Tablers need to stand up and do our bit for Humanity. Let’s together show the world that Round Table India "can make the difference".
Warm Regards,
Tr. Pranay A Trivedi
