As we are all aware a terrible tragedy has 
hit the people of Bihar where river Kosi changed its path and overflowed its banks flowing through a fresh channel some 75 miles to the east, which has no levees or protective embankments.
This has resulted in over 3 million people homeless and 250,000 houses destroyed. These people are stranded by hundreds of miles of floodwaters and trapped on rooftops and trees. The Government of India says that these are the worst floods in 50 years and has declared this as a National Calamity.
Round Table India is committed to do whatever it can in this hour of crises. Area IV is organizing relief operations under Kolkatta Evergreen RT 63 Chairman Tr. Sanjay Rathor, who is spearheading the operations in his personal capacity & leading a convoy of relief material to Bihar . He has assured that his table shall be responsible for disbursement & accountability of the funds received.
