Greetings.
At the 2nd NEX held at Hubli on 27th and 28th October 2007, the NEX took a decision to Update the RTI Hand Book and I, Tr.R.Balakrishnan, Chairman, Area 7 and member Karur Round Table No.138 has been entrusted with the responsibility to head the committee. I would like to thank the NEX on placing their trust in me.
The job has started on the following lines:
1. Convert the RTI Hand Book into a electronic format (pdf) and add a little colour to it to please the eye.
2. There are instances wherein minor re-wording could bring a lot of clarity and also consistency through out the Hand Book. These would no way affect the essence or the meaning. All these instances could be clubbed into one motion.
3. Some of the Sections could be moved from the regular portion to be Annexures which need to be updated every year (eg. RTI Past Boards, National HT …)
4. Some Sections could be removed (eg. FCRA Forms, not the explanation) and a link or a route to the destination pointed out
To achieve this and a lot more, I would request you all to send us inputs, which in your belief, would make the RTI Hand Book up-to-date and more reader friendly.
