MSRT 123’s flag ship inter table event 12Anthaksh3 was conducted in a bigger and better scale as promised on 13th October 2007 at The Park Sheraton, Chennai. In its 14th consecutive year, this is one event all Tablers, Circlers and Twinklers of Area 2 eagerly look forward to year after year. This year, 16 teams, the best of area 2, had a high voltage spirited competition consisting of 4 preliminary rounds and a grand finale.

At the end of a thoroughly enjoyable evening, which went on till early hours of next day, the Knights of Chennai, MKRT 181 won the coveted rolling trophy and the grand prize of free return air tickets to UAE.

Best Male Singer – Tr.Mohit Malhotra of MWRT 10
Best Female Singer - Hamsa of MCRT 162 

Special guest for the prize distribution was Area 2 Chairman, Tr.Rajesh Gupta. Twinklers round earlier in the day saw some twinklers as young as 6 years showing real spirit of Antakshari. All of them won special appreciation for the participation. The champions were twinklers of MSRT 123. 
Overall a fantastic evening with the “Baar bar dekho” bar doing brisk activity and packed audience enjoying every moment. The fellowship trophy for maximum participation went to MART 100. 
All of us at MSRT 123 thank all the Tablers, Circlers and twinklers of area 2 making it a grand success yet again.

CMRT 41 Sponsors Olympians

I feel proud being a part of the CMRT41 and take the pleasure of inform you that the kids we, CMRT 41 had sponsored for attending the Special Olympics and have won medals for the country and fame for our table also.

Manasi Samanta of Kishlaya has won one silver and one bronze medal and her picture has also been published in THE TELEGRAPH ON 15TH OCTOBER, 2007 ON PAGE 18 OF THE SPORTS COLUMN.
